The Front Office Supervisor at PrideInn reports to senior management and works closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments to ensure smooth daily operations. This Administration position in Nairobi requires someone with proven supervisory experience and a track record in hospitality front office settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries to maintain service standards.
  • Manage guest accounts, process billing transactions, and produce accurate front office reports on a routine basis.
  • Monitor room inventory levels and support revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and rates.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns professionally, resolving issues while upholding brand service standards.
  • Create and manage staff duty rosters, ensuring adequate coverage during all shifts and periods.
  • Support team training programmes and oversee performance management for front office staff.
  • Liaise with other departments to guarantee a coordinated guest experience from arrival to departure.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum three years of hands-on front office experience in a hotel environment.
  • At least one year in a supervisory or team lead capacity within front office operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and motivate a reception team.
