About the Role
AGL- Africa Global Logistics is recruiting an Administrative Assistant M/F to join its operations team in Nairobi. This is a full-time position within the Administration department, offering a structured role in a multimodal logistics environment. As part of the MSC family, AGL operates across 50 countries with a presence in 250 subsidiaries, connecting Africa to the rest of the world through port, ocean, logistics, and railway solutions.
The Administrative Assistant M/F at AGL- Africa Global Logistics will support warehouse and procurement operations, handling documentation, inventory oversight, and administrative processes. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Local Purchase Orders (LPO) within required timelines
- Extract and compile monthly reports from Gespar system for management review
- Maintain accurate records of staff IOU documentation and updates
- Monitor stock levels of warehouse parts regularly to verify inventory adequacy
- Verify and process supplier invoices in accordance with company procedures
- Manage all warehouse correspondence and maintain organized filing systems
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience
- Proficiency in computer systems and office software applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in data handling and reporting
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Professional presentation and ability to work under pressure
