About the Role

Excelon Limited is recruiting for a Cleaner to join its Nairobi office on a full-time, casual basis. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic, and safe working environments across office spaces, meeting facilities, and common areas. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to upholding health and safety standards.

As a Cleaner at Excelon Limited, you will be the first point of contact for maintaining facility standards daily. Your work directly supports a productive workplace and contributes to the wellbeing of all staff and visitors. This is a casual job in Nairobi suited to individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and all communal spaces throughout the facility
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming across designated areas
• Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, windowsills, and other fixtures to remove dirt and debris
• Collect and dispose of waste from bins in compliance with proper waste management procedures
• Clean and disinfect restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and tissue
• Maintain kitchen and pantry areas by cleaning sinks, countertops, and kitchen appliances
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and hygiene products as inventory runs low
• Identify and report maintenance issues, equipment faults, or safety hazards to management promptly

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to follow health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning operations
• Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; flexibility to adapt to facility needs
• Willingness to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
• Basic communication skills to report issues and interact professionally with office staff
• No formal qualifications required; on-the-job training will be provided by Excelon Limited
