USIU-Africa Scholarships 2026: Full Tuition Scholarships Available

United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) is inviting qualified Kenyan students to apply for its 2026 scholarship opportunities.

The scholarships are designed to support academically talented students facing financial challenges. Available awards cover between 50% and 100% of tuition, while the full scholarship also covers accommodation, meals, books and computer laboratory fees.

Available USIU-Africa Scholarships

1. Full USIU-Africa Scholarship

Available Slots: Two – one male and one female student.

The scholarship covers:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Books
  • Computer laboratory fees
  • University accommodation
  • Meals

Minimum Academic Requirements:

  • KCSE mean grade of B+ or above
  • At least B Plain in English
  • At least B Plain in Mathematics

2. Partial USIU-Africa Scholarship

Available Slots: Two – one male and one female student.

The scholarship covers 100% of tuition costs only.

Minimum Academic Requirements:

  • KCSE mean grade of B Plain or above
  • At least B- in English
  • At least B- in Mathematics

3. Diversity Scholarship

Available Slots: Two – one male and one female student.

The scholarship covers 100% of tuition costs.

It is available to qualified students from:

  • Marginalized communities
  • Informal settlements
  • Arid and Semi-Arid Lands
  • Underrepresented communities
  • Persons with Disabilities

Minimum Academic Requirements:

  • KCSE mean grade of B Plain or above
  • At least B- in English
  • At least B- in Mathematics

4. Exness Fintech Scholarship

Available Slots: Two – one male and one female student.

The scholarship covers 100% of tuition costs for students pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security.

Applicants must:

  • Hold a first degree in an Information Technology-related field
  • Have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Meet USIU-Africa postgraduate admission requirements

Previous beneficiaries of the Exness Undergraduate Scholarship are not eligible to apply.

5. Criminal Justice Scholarship

Available Slots: Two – one male and one female student.

The scholarship covers 50% of tuition costs.

It is open to Kenyan civil servants interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies at USIU-Africa.

Applicants must provide a recommendation letter from their immediate supervisor or departmental head.

General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Be Kenyan citizens
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Demonstrate academic excellence
  • Show leadership potential
  • Demonstrate commitment to community service
  • Meet USIU-Africa admission requirements
  • Be available to begin studies during the Fall 2026 Semester

Applicants for undergraduate scholarships should generally be first-time undergraduate degree-seeking students and should have completed their KCSE or A-Level studies in 2025, except where otherwise specified.

Scholarships are available for approved undergraduate programmes at USIU-Africa, except:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

Applicants must submit:

  • A completed USIU-Africa Scholarship Application Form
  • A typed scholarship application letter explaining why they should be considered
  • Copies of KCSE, A-Level or university academic certificates and results
  • National identification documents
  • Evidence of financial need
  • Leadership or community service supporting documents
  • Recommendation letter where applicable
  • Any other relevant supporting documents
