This is a full-time casual position that combines laundry operations with motorcycle-based delivery services. The successful candidate will split their time between facility-based laundry work and route-based customer deliveries, making this ideal for someone with both technical laundry skills and a valid rider’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and transport laundry from clients using the company motorbike, ensuring items arrive on time and in condition
• Return completed laundry orders to customers via motorcycle, maintaining delivery schedules and securing customer acknowledgment
• Design and follow efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption
• Handle garment parcels with care, ensuring proper packing and securing of loads for transport
• Maintain detailed delivery logs, record collection and drop-off times, and obtain signatures as required
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press laundry items according to fabric type and customer specifications (70% of time)
• Tag customer garments accurately and maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing items
• Monitor washing machine and dryer operation, perform basic cleaning tasks such as lint filter removal, and flag mechanical problems to management
• Keep the laundry workspace clean and organized, with supplies and equipment stored appropriately
• Report lost, damaged, or unclaimed garments to supervisors immediately
• Keep the motorbike fueled, clean, and mechanically sound; report accidents or maintenance needs at once

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Kenyan motorbike riding license (Class F or Class G)
• Minimum one year of hands-on experience in motorcycle-based delivery work
• Prior experience in laundry operations, dry cleaning, or textile care (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
• Reliable customer service communication and the ability to interact professionally with clients
• Trustworthy, punctual, and well-organized in managing both time and inventory
• Physical fitness and capability to lift medium-weight loads regularly throughout the day
