Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and organize merchandise by department, ensuring correct placement and storage within the facility.
• Inspect all deliveries to confirm freshness, quality, cleanliness, and accuracy before acceptance; reject any damaged, incorrect, or substandard items.
• Store perishable items according to temperature and safety requirements; rotate stock systematically to maintain inventory integrity.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory tracking and supply ordering; monitor stock levels and alert management when supplies fall below acceptable thresholds.
• Stack and arrange received merchandise on pallets or carts for efficient movement and storage.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and handling procedures in food storage areas and throughout the property.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all refrigeration units, freezers, food preparation equipment, floors, and drainage systems.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard waste, and trash; dispose of materials in designated storage areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in store management or storeroom operations, ideally within a 5-star hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems and stock rotation practices.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and health and sanitation standards relevant to hotel operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly as part of daily duties.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
