About the Role

MSVL Group is recruiting an Inventory Executive for a full-time position based in Kenya. This role sits within the procurement and supply chain function, overseeing stock management, inventory accuracy, and coordination across multiple operational teams. The Inventory Executive at MSVL Group will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, analyzing stock trends, and ensuring compliance with control procedures that support business performance.

The position requires someone with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, imports, or supply chain operations. You’ll work with enterprise systems, manage physical stock counts, coordinate shipments, and drive process improvements that directly impact cost control and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Track inventory levels, stock movement, and record accuracy to ensure data integrity across the system.
• Perform physical stock counts and reconcile findings with recorded inventory to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Receive, process, and dispatch shipments while maintaining complete and accurate documentation for all transactions.
• Review inventory trends and supply chain metrics to inform procurement and operational decisions.
• Liaise with production, sales, operations, and quality departments to align inventory strategy with business needs.
• Support product pricing reviews, profitability assessments, and new product launches based on inventory data.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective measures to prevent future issues.
• Collaborate on system updates and workflow enhancements to strengthen inventory control processes.
• Maintain adherence to all inventory management policies and operational standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in inventory management, import operations, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) and retail management systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, prepare reports, and identify operational trends.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage complex inventory records and multiple concurrent tasks.
• Clear communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across departments and resolve issues promptly.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset to address inventory challenges and optimize processes.
