Open Positions
Pediatrician — Nairobi
- Deliver specialist paediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents within the Equity Afia clinic network
- Manage patient diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Maintain compliance with KMPDC registration and licensing requirements
- Contribute to clinic protocols and clinical decision-making in a collaborative team environment
Medical Officer — Nairobi
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across general medical and internal medicine specialties
- Complete patient records, clinical reports, and health documentation with accuracy
- Maintain valid KMPDC registration and apply evidence-based clinical practice
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in patient management and treatment decisions
Medical Officer — Kiambu
- Provide primary and emergency medical care to patients attending the Kiambu facility
- Record patient interactions and outcomes in the Health Management Information System
- Work within local healthcare policies and maintain KMPDC compliance
- Engage patients with clear communication and sound clinical reasoning
Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) — Nairobi
- Deliver community-level oral health services and preventive dental care
- Apply clinical oral health knowledge in patient treatment and health education
- Maintain valid OHAK or KMPDC registration and compliance with safety standards
- Use computer systems to record patient data and clinic activities
Business Development Officer — Nairobi
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Develop sales strategies to expand Equity Afia’s service reach and market presence
- Meet expansion targets and deliver measurable results in business growth
- Liaise with stakeholders while maintaining knowledge of healthcare regulations and service offerings
Customer Experience Officer / Receptionist — Nairobi
- Welcome patients and manage front office operations professionally and courteously
- Process patient information and administrative tasks using clinic management systems
- Maintain a professional environment that reflects the clinic’s service standards
- Respond to patient inquiries with clear communication and empathy
General Requirements Across All Roles
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Health Management Information Systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable to patient or client interaction
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation standards, and regulatory procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within clinical or service-focused team structures
- Valid professional registration and licensing relevant to the role (KMPDC, OHAK, or equivalent)
Role-Specific Qualifications
Pediatrician: Master of Medicine in Paediatrics or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS); minimum 2 years postgraduate experience; certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Medical Officers (Nairobi & Kiambu): Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from a recognised university; minimum 1 year internship experience in a public or private hospital; valid KMPDC registration; Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
Community Oral Health Officer: Diploma in Community Oral Health; valid registration and license from OHAK or KMPDC; minimum 2 years’ clinical experience; Certificate in Basic Life Support.
Business Development Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field; minimum 3–5 years in business development, sales, or partnership roles; healthcare industry experience is advantageous; proven track record of meeting sales or expansion targets.
Customer Experience Officer / Receptionist: Diploma in Front Office Administration, Business Administration, Health Records, or equivalent; minimum 2 years’ experience in a service-oriented industry.
