About the Role

Excelon Limited is recruiting a Driver for full-time employment in Kenya. This position involves operating company vehicles to move goods between locations while adhering to safety standards and company transport protocols. The role sits within the Driving & Logistics sector and requires someone who can manage vehicle operations independently, maintain equipment in good working order, and deliver on tight schedules.

The Driver at Excelon Limited will work on a rolling basis with a monthly salary between KSh 16,000 and KSh 30,000, depending on experience and qualifications. You will report to management and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery operations across Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods to their designated destinations on schedule and in compliance with delivery instructions.
• Collect and deliver cargo within agreed timeframes, coordinating with dispatch and receiving teams.
• Keep the assigned vehicle in a clean condition and ensure its exterior and interior are well-maintained at all times.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections, identify mechanical faults, and report issues to management immediately.
• Monitor and maintain current vehicle insurance coverage, scheduled servicing, and roadworthiness inspections.
• Record fuel consumption, mileage readings, and trip details in logbooks or digital systems for accountability.
• Follow all traffic regulations, speed limits, and company transport policies without exception.

Requirements & Qualifications

• KCSE certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid, current driving license with a clean driving record and no serious traffic violations.
• Demonstrated work experience as a professional driver in the transport or logistics sector.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, including routine checks and minor troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in compound maintenance, grounds care, grass cutting, or fumigation operations (preferred but not required).
• Ability to take written and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision once tasks are assigned.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with colleagues and clients.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks associated with loading, unloading, and vehicle operation.
