About the Role

World Vision Kenya is recruiting a Business Analyst III for a full-time position based in Nairobi. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology implementation, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between organizational leadership and the IT team. You will work across multiple business functions to translate operational needs into technical solutions, managing the full lifecycle from initial business case through system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy, competitive positioning, and organizational direction
• Participate in planning sessions with business leaders to identify process improvements and define short- and long-term technology needs
• Develop business cases and feasibility studies for proposed IT solutions and enhancements
• Assess client requirements using structured processes—gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing scope changes—to prioritize immediate needs and evaluate options, risks, and cost-benefit trade-offs
• Write and communicate business requirements and functional specifications to guide design and implementation of solutions
• Analyze current business operations and processes to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities
• Review and recommend enhancements to business processes and operational models based on findings
• Monitor testing processes, develop user test cases, and validate test results during user acceptance testing to minimize implementation risk
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams throughout solution delivery

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3–6 years of combined technical and business analysis experience
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes
• Proficiency in business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required for project delivery
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage stakeholder expectations
