Job Description
Duties will include;
LIASING WITH STATUTORY BODIES
- Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services
- Kenya Dairy Board
- Pharmacy & Poisons Board
- Kenya Radiation Protection Board
- Kenya Veterinary Board
- Kenya Bureau of Standards
- Nairobi City County, amongst others
KNOWLEDGE OF IMPORTATION PROCESS
- Processing of IDF’s and lodging them on Kentrade/New Kentrade/ICMS
- Insurance calculation for shipment
- Liaising with Clearing Agent on Shipments
- Follow up with suppliers on status of shipment
- Calculation of Duty Payments
Qualifications and Skills;
- Certificate or diploma in Clearing & Forwarding.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity
- good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
