Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate merger and acquisition opportunities by analysing transaction structures, lifecycle milestones and impact on consolidated financial reporting
  • Translate complex financial analysis into compelling narratives and presentations that communicate key findings to decision-makers
  • Review and quality-assure deliverables produced by junior team members, ensuring consistency with firm standards and best practices
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to understand client objectives and shape financial solutions that drive transaction success
  • Stay current with evolving accounting standards, regulatory requirements and budgeting frameworks that influence model outputs and financial reporting
  • Mentor and coach junior associates, sharing technical knowledge and providing constructive feedback to support their professional development

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field
  • Professional certification completed or actively pursued, such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, ACA or CIFA
  • 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in financial modelling, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking or advisory consulting
  • Proven expertise building and reviewing intricate financial models within transaction or advisory environments; strong working knowledge of M&A processes and transaction documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity of financial modelling best practices, auditability and compliance frameworks
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting fundamentals, corporate finance principles, valuation methodologies and ledger management
  • Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to solve multifaceted problems under pressure, managing competing priorities and delivering on deadline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively in multicultural teams across multiple geographies
