Reservations Officer at Africa Safari Trips

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tasks through the company’s working/task platform, ensuring timely reservations and follow-ups.
• Handle all bookings for both domestic and international flights and trains
• Enter and update all booking information on the company system.
• Follow up on booking vouchers and auto-release timelines.
• Ensure clients’ special requests, especially for accommodation and room specifications, are accurate and fulfilled.
• Make provisional bookings for guests across various services
• Brief tour leaders before safari departures.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to meet company objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality.
• At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry, particularly in reservations and/ or hotel bookings /reservations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Great communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in reservation systems and software
