DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Receive and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
- Stamping control lists of controlled invoices and delivery notes for suppliers and those to be delivered to head office for payment
- Filing of receiving documents, supplier health trade license for those transporting fresh food,
- Inspecting products for any signs of damage, verifying expiration dates, and assessing overall quality to confirm compliance with established standards..
- Counting and cross-checking the quantity of each item received against the delivery documents.
- Register received goods in the inventory system, meticulously noting details such as product code, quantity, and delivery date.
- Properly rotating stock on shelves, placing items with earlier expiry dates in front.
- Storing received goods in specific locations within the warehouse or assigned storage rooms according to their product type and classification.
- Reporting and addressing any discrepancies between delivery and purchase order, communicating with suppliers to resolve issues
- Applying price tags and labels to received products as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum one-year experience
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or databases
- Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inspection tasks
- Strong organizational skills for efficient storage solutions.
