Open Positions

Telesales Agent

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers and manage inbound inquiries to convert leads into sales
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer retention
  • Maintain accurate customer records, purchase history, and preferences in the CRM system
  • Respond to customer queries and provide detailed product information
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management
  • Record all customer interactions, sales activities, and daily call reports in the CRM platform

Field Sales Representative

  • Conduct field visits and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients
  • Identify new market segments and pursue untapped business opportunities
  • Follow up on sales leads and quotations to ensure timely deal closure
  • Analyze competitor activity and provide market intelligence reports to support strategy
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, client visits, and pipeline status
  • Travel extensively to meet clients and represent the company in assigned territories

Business Development Officer

  • Conduct market research to identify new customers, untapped markets, and emerging business trends
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach initiatives
  • Prepare and customize sales proposals, quotations, and tender documents for clients
  • Support sales conversion efforts including product presentations, negotiations, and deal follow-ups
  • Track competitor activities and provide insights to inform strategic business decisions
  • Represent Royal Mabati Factory at industry exhibitions, events, and networking forums
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams on key initiatives

General Requirements

  • Education: Telesales Agent — Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Sales, or related field (KCSE with strong communication skills may be considered). Field Sales Representative and Business Development Officer — Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Telesales Agent — 1–3 years in telesales, call centre, or telemarketing. Field Sales Representative — 2–3 years in field sales or business development. Business Development Officer — 2–3 years in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Experience with proposal writing and tender preparation is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Swahili language skills are valued. Strong telephone etiquette and active listening required.
  • Sales Abilities: Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills. Ability to close sales and meet targets consistently.
  • Other Competencies: Self-motivated and results-driven approach. Willingness to travel for field and business development roles. Problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities.
