Public Service Commission Internship Programme 2026/2027 – Cohort 9 – Public Service Commission (PSCK) Kenya Job Details
The Public Service Commission (PSC) is inviting qualified Kenyan graduates to apply for the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) Cohort 9 for the Financial Year 2026/2027.
The programme provides graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience, develop professional skills, build networks and improve their employment and entrepreneurship prospects. Successful applicants will be deployed to various Government Ministries, Departments, State Agencies, State Corporations and Public Universities.

Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for the Public Service Commission Internship Programme, applicants must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Have graduated not earlier than the year 2020.
- Be proficient in computer applications.
- Not have benefited from a similar internship programme.
Internship Duties and Responsibilities
Successful interns will be expected to:
- Complete duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by their respective supervisors.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Ministry, Department, State Agency, Corporation or Public University where they are deployed.
- Document the knowledge, skills and experience acquired during the internship.
- Participate actively in mentorship, coaching and professional development activities.
- Undertake additional responsibilities designed as part of the internship programme.
- Observe workplace policies, professional standards and public service values.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of assigned activities.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other employees to support service delivery.
Duration of the Internship
The internship will run for twelve months and is non-renewable.
Internship Stipend
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend at a rate determined by the Government.
Certificate
Interns who successfully complete the twelve-month programme will be awarded a certificate by the Public Service Commission.
