Payables Officer at Old Mutual Kenya

Key responsibilities

• Processing company payments as may be assigned. This include:
• Supplier/creditors payments
• Agents and brokers Commissions/allowances/bonuses
• Claims/ Withdrawals
• Redemptions/disinvestments
• Taxes
• Staff disbursements
• Fund related payments
• Payroll deductions payments
• Any other payments assigned by the company
• Reconciling various Payables related GL accounts as may be assigned
• Process accruals and prepayments
• Prepare payables reports and perform payment/Expense analysis
• Bank agent
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier/stakeholders statements and sending remittances.
• Any other duties that may be allocated by management from time to time

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Finance related field
• Certified Public Accountant
• Experience within the financial services industry
