IB Programme Coordinator at Rose of Sharon Academy
We are seeking an experienced IB Programme Coordinator to lead the implementation and coordination of our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This is a pivotal role that will drive our school’s final stage of IBDP authorization and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the school’s final stage of the IBDP authorization and evaluation journey
- Lead the implementation and ongoing coordination of the IBDP programme
- Build a culture of inquiry, international-mindedness, and continuous improvement across the school
- Serve as the primary liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Lead professional learning and instructional coaching to strengthen IB teaching and learning
- Coordinate all aspects of the Diploma Programme, including assessment, the DP Core (TOK, EE and CAS), and examination administration
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with qualified teacher status
- Minimum 8 years of classroom teaching in an international or high-performing curriculum setting
- Minimum three years’ successful teaching experience within the IB Diploma Programme
- Official IB professional development: Category 2 required; Category 3 is an added advantage
- Demonstrated understanding of IB Standards and Practices and current developments in IB education
- Experience leading or supporting an IB candidacy, authorization, programme evaluation or verification process is a distinct advantage
- Previous experience coordinating an IB programme or demonstrating academic leadership within an IB World School is an added advantage
- Proficiency in IBIS and ManageBac or equivalent IB platforms preferred
