About the Role

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is recruiting interns for its 2026 Internship Programme across Africa. Key Responsibilities

  • Support FAO teams on projects related to sustainable agriculture and food security initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Age 21–30 years at the time of application
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student, or a recent graduate
  • Field of study relevant to FAO’s mandate (agriculture, environmental science, nutrition, economics, rural development, or related fields)
  • Functional command of English or another FAO working language
  • Citizenship of an FAO member country (Kenyan nationals are eligible)
  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship programme
