Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Debt Collection Officer located in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya. The Debt Collection Officer will be responsible for contacting clients to collect outstanding payments, negotiating repayment plans, and maintaining records of collection efforts. The role involves working closely with the finance and customer service teams to resolve any payment issues and ensure timely collection of debts.
Qualifications
- Debt Collection and Finance skills
- Analytical Skills for assessing and resolving payment issues
- Great Customer Service and Communication skills
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Proficiency in using debt collection software and other relevant tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a financial institution is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
