About the Role

Pathcare is recruiting a Corporate Wellness Business Development Executive to join its Corporate Wellness Division in Nairobi on a full-time basis. This is a commercially focused position responsible for expanding Pathcare’s footprint in the corporate health services market across Kenya. You will identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, non-governmental organisations, government agencies, and institutional clients, positioning Pathcare’s wellness programmes, executive medical examinations, and preventive health screening services as essential offerings.

Pathcare Kenya, established in 2002 and Kenyan-owned, operates as a private professional laboratory delivering diagnostic and wellness services in partnership with Pathcare South Africa, a prominent pathology provider. The Corporate Wellness Business Development Executive role sits at the intersection of healthcare sales and business development, requiring someone with proven commercial acumen and sector knowledge to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the corporate wellness segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and establish relationships with corporate entities, NGOs, government institutions, and organisational clients across Kenya to present Pathcare’s wellness and health screening services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the Corporate Wellness Division’s client portfolio and revenue streams.
  • Present and promote executive medical programmes, corporate wellness packages, and diagnostic health screening solutions to prospective clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track client progress from initial contact through contract closure, and maintain accurate records of all business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customise wellness solutions that meet the specific health and compliance needs of corporate clients.
  • Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion and contract renewal within existing accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the corporate wellness and healthcare diagnostics sectors to inform strategy.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and market insights to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BSc, or HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Health, or a closely related field.
  • Three to five years of direct experience in corporate sales, business development, or healthcare marketing roles.
  • Demonstrable background in healthcare, laboratory diagnostics, or corporate wellness sectors—this is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of closing commercial deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of corporate decision-making.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and standard office productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within Kenya to meet with prospective and existing corporate clients.
