Business Analyst at KCB Bank Kenya

KCB Bank Kenya is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects, systems, or processes
• Assist in the prioritization of business requirements and define project scope and objectives
• Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
• Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure the final product meets documented requirements and specifications
• Provide support to end users during implementation and post-implementation phases
• Monitor changes in baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools
• Work with senior business analysts to manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout projects
• Contribute to the development of test plans and test scripts, and perform test execution to ensure solutions align with business needs
• Assist in training end users, create training materials and user guides, and oversee user acceptance and competency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2 years’ progressive work experience in Information Technology
• 1 year’s experience in Business analysis and architecture
• 1 year’s experience in IT Projects

Desired Qualifications

• Professional certification in ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or TOGAF
• Project management certification: PRINCE II (Practitioner), AgilePM, PMI-ACP, Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• 1 year’s experience in Emerging Technologies (Mobile, Internet Banking, Cloud, Microservices, etc.)
• 1 year’s experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
