Excelon Limited is recruiting a Bartender/Mixologist to join its hospitality team in Kenya. The Bartender/Mixologist at Excelon Limited will be responsible for crafting drinks, managing bar operations, and upholding strict hygiene and compliance standards. You’ll work in a structured environment where attention to detail, speed, and professionalism directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following established recipes and adjusting for individual guest preferences.
• Engage guests with professionalism, communicate product knowledge, and suggest premium or signature drinks to increase sales.
• Monitor stock levels of spirits, mixers, and garnishes; place orders for replenishment and ensure proper storage and rotation.
• Keep the bar area clean and organised, follow food safety protocols, and comply with all health and licensing regulations.
• Process cash and card payments accurately, reconcile drawers at shift end, and issue receipts without error.
• Develop signature cocktails and contribute ideas for seasonal drink menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences.
• Apply responsible alcohol service practices and adhere strictly to licensing laws and company policies at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Mixology.
• Proven experience working as a bartender or mixologist in a resort, restaurant, or bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine varieties, beer styles, and spirits.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and colleagues professionally.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a busy setting.
• Understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations related to beverage service.
