Job Purpose

The AutoCAD Draftsman will support project execution by preparing accurate technical drawings and documentation in line with project specifications and engineering standards. The role involves close coordination with engineers and site teams to ensure drawings are up to date, compliant, and ready for implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project requirements

• Interpret technical sketches, layouts, and design specifications accurately

• Update and revise drawings to reflect design changes and site instructions

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to clarify drawing details

• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and version controls

• Ensure drawings meet required quality, accuracy, and project standards

• Support documentation needs throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory

• Ability to read, interpret, and translate technical drawings and specifications

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

• Diploma or certificate in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is an added advantage
