Accounts Assistant at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with both clerical and administrative tasks.
• Posting daily credit notes for all delivery notes returned.
• Filing all documents and maintaining sequential files.
• Organizing cheque collections, preparing bank deposits, and general ledger postings.
• Assisting in client/supplier accounts reconciliation.
• Managing office petty cash.
• Confirming payments on the Mpesa paybill and posting.
• Handling accounts payables and receivables.
• Handling bank reconciliations.
• Managing payroll and statutory deductions.
• Handling tax management and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least CPA II.
• Must have over 3 years’ experience in finance for the manufacturing sector.
• Must demonstrate high professional integrity, ability to multitask, flexibility and organizational skills.
• Must be proficient with QuickBooks or similar accounting system.
• Must be able to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
