Job Purpose

The Restaurant Runner supports efficient food service operations by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals from the kitchen to guests. The role contributes to high service standards, guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately.

• Verify food presentation, temperature, and quality before serving to meet restaurant standards.

• Communicate order status, special requests, and guest needs to kitchen and service staff.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Assist in restocking condiments, cutlery, and service supplies.

• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operational needs.

Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment with attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and standard operating procedures.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support service staff.
