About the Role

Fix Kenya is recruiting a Graphics Designer for a full-time position based in Nairobi. This role involves creating visual content across multiple platforms and mediums—from social media assets to website graphics to standalone branding projects. You will work across several internal departments and external clients simultaneously, managing your own workflow and ensuring every deliverable meets strict brand and quality standards.

The Graphics Designer at Fix Kenya position suits someone who can manage multiple briefs, work independently, and maintain consistent output without constant oversight. You’ll use industry-standard design tools, interpret creative briefs through a formal workflow system, and communicate progress and challenges proactively with project leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Create social media graphics including posts, stories, carousels, and reel covers for client accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok based on briefs from the Digital Marketing department.
• Produce website design assets such as banners, icons, landing page visuals, and other graphics required by the Web Development department.
• Execute standalone design projects including logos, brand identity packages, brochures, flyers, business cards, and other print or digital materials for clients.
• Ensure visual consistency across all design outputs by following each client’s brand guidelines, colour schemes, and identity standards.
• Receive design briefs through the Business Management System, interpret requirements accurately, and deliver completed work within the same system.
• Meet assigned deadlines, report progress regularly, and communicate any blockers or timeline issues early.
• Implement feedback and revisions promptly, referencing the original brief to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphics design.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite as the primary design tool, with familiarity in Canva or equivalent software.
• A portfolio demonstrating work across social media design, brand identity projects, and print or digital materials.
• Solid grasp of design fundamentals: typography, colour theory, layout principles, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to design for multiple platforms with correct dimensions and format specifications for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and web.
• Experience applying and maintaining brand guidelines across multiple client accounts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver clean, polished, error-free work.
• Written and verbal communication skills sufficient for receiving briefs, clarifying requirements, and reporting status.

Preferred Skills

• Basic to intermediate video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Ability to create short videos from still images, raw footage, or templates for social media content such as reels and TikToks.
