About the Role

CloudFactory is recruiting a Pedagogy Specialist – English to join its content quality and curriculum development team. This full-time position is based in Nairobi and focuses on ensuring that English language learning materials meet pedagogical standards and learner needs. The Pedagogy Specialist – English at CloudFactory will work within a global team that builds on-demand digital solutions for critical business processes. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and improving English learning content, ensuring it aligns with best practices in language pedagogy and delivers measurable learning outcomes for users across CloudFactory’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Review trial lesson feedback and assign pedagogical scores that influence what content learners access next
• Assess grammar exercises for instructional quality and alignment with established teaching methodology
• Map lesson content back to foundational grammar concepts, ensuring a structured progression in the learning sequence
• Analyse learner performance data to identify gaps and recommend enhancements to English language materials
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing lesson structures and provide recommendations for content refinement
• Maintain consistency in pedagogical standards across all reviewed materials

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in education, TESOL, TEFL, applied linguistics, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in language teaching methodology and pedagogical theory
• Prior experience developing, reviewing, or annotating educational content for classroom or digital platforms
• Background in curriculum or lesson design for language learning
• Experience working with EdTech platforms or AI-assisted learning systems (highly valued)
• Advanced English language proficiency at CEFR C1 level or equivalent
