Programme Overview

This is a compulsory 12-month internship programme designed to bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice. All participants must complete the full internship period before they are eligible for formal registration with their respective professional councils. The Healthcare Internship Opportunities at Ministry of Health programme runs from 1 July 2026 onwards and is structured to provide supervised practical experience in real healthcare settings.

What the Internship Entails

  • Supervised clinical or professional practice in assigned healthcare facilities
  • Completion of a mandatory 12-month service requirement prior to professional council registration

  • Be available to commence the internship on 1 July 2026
