- Conduct data collection and analysis to support research activities across the FemDigiNomics programme

- Support quantitative and qualitative research workflows under supervision
NLP and AI Intern
- Work with Swahili and mixed-language datasets to support natural language processing research
- Perform language annotation and data labelling for machine learning workflows
- Contribute to ethical AI initiatives and responsible technology governance within the centre
- Document NLP processes and assist in model development and testing
Responsible AI and Data Governance Intern
- Support implementation of ethical data practices and privacy frameworks across programmes
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsible AI governance protocols
- Contribute to safeguarding processes and data protection compliance activities
- Research and document emerging governance standards for AI in development contexts
Financial Inclusion and Partnerships Intern
- Support research on women’s financial inclusion, barriers to access, and economic empowerment strategies

- Contribute to project design and programme planning for financial inclusion initiatives
- Compile data and insights on women’s economic participation and service usage
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Intern
- Support monitoring of programme activities and collection of performance data
- Assist in designing and implementing impact measurement frameworks
- Prepare monitoring reports and learning documentation for stakeholders
- Support data analysis and contribute to evidence of programme outcomes
Community Engagement and Programme Intern
- Coordinate community engagement activities and participant recruitment for programmes
- Manage logistical and administrative aspects of community-based activities
- Support programme implementation and facilitate communication between the centre and community partners
- Document community feedback and contribute to programme adaptation
Product, Communications and Learning Intern
- Develop learning content, case studies, and evidence briefs for diverse audiences

General Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to gender justice, financial inclusion, and social impact through academic work, volunteer experience, or professional engagement
- Fluency in both English and Swahili, written and spoken
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to document activities and findings clearly
- Capability to work independently while contributing effectively to multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of and respect for community-centred approaches and ethical data practices
- Willingness to learn across research methodologies, technology application, programme management, and community engagement domains
