The organisation works across multiple countries to unlock capital and support entrepreneurs building businesses that create social and environmental impact. The company is now recruiting for three full-time positions across its People Operations, Finance, and Investment teams in Kenya.

Open Positions

People Operations Assistant

  • Handle the full spectrum of employee lifecycle administration, including contract issuance, tracking, and execution of onboarding and offboarding procedures
  • Process benefits enrollments and removals, manage benefits-related grievances, and conduct benefits audits across the organisation
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) data through regular audits and updates
  • Serve as the primary support desk contact for non-Employee Relations inquiries, ensuring timely response and resolution
  • Coordinate onboarding buddy and mentorship programs, pairing new employees with mentors based on role fit and preferences
  • Support immigration and compliance documentation collection for visa and work permit applications
  • Execute wellness initiatives and contribute to process improvement projects under the direction of the People Operations Senior Manager

Junior Accountant – Nairobi

  • Record and code financial transactions accurately in accounting software systems
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups
  • Prepare weekly payment runs and upload bank statements for reconciliation
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Process employee expense reports and maintain the fixed asset register
  • Support finance team during external audits by gathering and organising required documentation
  • Contribute to cash flow tracking, forecasting, and statutory compliance filings across multiple entities

Senior Associate – Natural Capital, Francophone Africa

  • Lead market assessments and value-chain analyses to identify investment opportunities in agriculture and nature-based sectors across the Congo Basin
  • Build and maintain relationships with private sector partners, smallholder farmers, development finance institutions, carbon financiers, and commercial banks
  • Conduct investment evaluations, prepare investment memorandums, and provide transaction support to capital seekers and investors
  • Travel regularly within the region to engage with stakeholders and assess project viability in field settings
  • Manage multiple projects and deal workstreams concurrently, with responsibility for team coordination and project execution
  • Conduct macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational analyses to inform investment recommendations
  • Mentor junior staff and support business development and thought leadership initiatives

General Requirements

People Operations Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software (specifically BambooHR experience is required)
  • Strong organisational and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences and strong stakeholder management capability

Junior Accountant – Nairobi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience, including internship placements
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with finance colleagues
  • Progress toward professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA) is advantageous

Senior Associate – Natural Capital, Francophone Africa

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent advanced professional qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or comparable investment roles
  • Proven experience living or working in underserved markets; experience in Central Africa and the Congo Basin is strongly preferred
  • Background in agriculture, natural capital, conservation, or forestry sectors
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities; ability to structure complex problems and design solutions addressing core issues
  • Proficiency in both English and French languages is required
  • Experience in project management, leadership roles, and carbon market development is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships under pressure and operate effectively in ambiguous or changing environments
