Open Positions

The Healing Farm Housekeeper (Kitui)

  • Oversee cleanliness and sanitation across all residential areas, including sleeping quarters, bathrooms, cooking facilities, and shared spaces
  • Execute daily cleaning routines including vacuuming, floor washing, surface disinfection, and rubbish management
  • Prepare and refresh bedrooms for guests and residents, including bed preparation, linen replacement, and restocking of essential items
  • Manage all laundry operations, encompassing washing, drying, pressing, and proper organisation of linens and cloths
  • Prepare and serve meals following established menus, taking into account dietary requirements and health standards
  • Monitor and report facility maintenance issues to supervisors; maintain stock of cleaning materials, food provisions, and kitchen tools
  • Provide hands-on support during special events and group visits, ensuring adequate meal provision and facility readiness

Office Assistant (Nairobi)

  • Maintain office cleanliness across work areas, meeting spaces, furniture, and equipment in compliance with workplace standards
  • Prepare and distribute refreshments for staff, organise catering for meetings and client visits as required
  • Manage office equipment and supply inventories, coordinate utility bill payments, and arrange periodic deep cleaning and pest control
  • Handle document filing and retrieval processes, answer phone calls, greet visitors, and support general administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with building maintenance teams regarding washroom upkeep and routine repairs; keep company vehicles clean and presentable

General Requirements

  • Secondary school completion or equivalent qualification
  • Between 3 and 5 years of progressive work experience in relevant field (housekeeping, hospitality, or office administration)
  • Fluent spoken and written English communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently
  • For Housekeeper role: basic culinary skills, knowledge of food safety protocols, and physical fitness for cleaning and kitchen duties
  • For Office Assistant role: basic computer literacy, organisational capability, ability to multitask, and familiarity with feminist gender perspectives
  • Valid police clearance certificate or willingness to obtain one before appointment
