You’ll work closely with senior leadership, People Partners, and country directors to embed best practices in change management and organizational design. Key Responsibilities

- Create and implement a restructuring toolkit that guides People Partners and country offices through all phases of organizational change—from design concept through full implementation—with consistency and quality control.
- Lead major restructuring initiatives with significant workforce impact, taking ownership of design, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and successful execution across multiple regions.
- Build HR team capability in change management, organization development, and implementation by embedding proven frameworks, coaching leaders through transitions, and creating sustainable practice standards.
- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and labor regulations across the countries where Save the Children operates, ensuring all restructuring and workforce planning activities remain compliant and legally sound.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic workforce planning with a proven track record of translating organizational strategy into concrete demand/supply analyses, building practical playbooks for senior executives, and creating tools that drive decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of workforce analytics, talent demand forecasting, and scenario planning across humanitarian, international development, and NGO contexts with experience in multi-country operating environments.
- Advanced analytical capability to interpret workforce data, identify trends, and convert insights into actionable workforce strategies that senior leaders can implement immediately.
- Substantial experience in organizational design—structuring departments, defining roles, establishing reporting relationships, and optimizing decision-making processes—with evidence of delivering successful organizational redesigns.
- Proven leadership through multiple large-scale restructuring projects affecting significant employee populations across different countries, regions, or organizations; strong stakeholder management and change communication skills required.
- Solid grounding in change management methodology with hands-on experience embedding change frameworks into organizational practice, coaching teams through transitions, and building confidence during uncertain periods.
- Knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR compliance requirements in multiple international jurisdictions relevant to organizational restructuring and workforce management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear options and trade-offs for board-level and senior management audiences.
