Key Responsibilities

  • Lead community engagement efforts to identify, recruit, and successfully onboard young people with disabilities into the programme
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with disability organizations, training centres, digital academies, and employers throughout the implementation cycle
  • Supply expert guidance and organizational capacity building focused on disability inclusion, child safeguarding standards, and equitable employment practices
  • Create structured employer development programmes that promote disability awareness and inclusive human resources strategies
  • Facilitate connections between programme participants and mentors, internship opportunities, apprenticeships, and entry-level employment positions
  • Oversee all financial planning and budget management while ensuring compliance with donor regulations and organizational accounting standards
  • Monitor data collection processes, validate information quality, analyse findings, and produce comprehensive reports aligned with organizational monitoring and evaluation frameworks

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing programmes within international NGOs, social enterprises, or youth employment initiatives with measurable impact
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering digital skills, employability training, entrepreneurship programmes, or labour market development projects
  • Substantive experience in skills development, building employer partnerships, facilitating internships and job placements, and advancing disability inclusion
  • Working knowledge of disability organizations, disability-led advocacy groups, persons with disabilities lived experiences, and intersectional gender perspectives
  • Strong ability to engage and build relationships with young people, technical and vocational education institutions, digital skills academies, private sector companies, and disability networks
  • Solid financial management background with experience in budgeting, donor compliance, and procurement procedures in compliance-focused environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present findings to diverse audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, social sciences, human resources, business management, or related field
