About the Role

Vihiga County Government is recruiting for the position of Youth Service Board – Tiriki East Sub-County, a full-time role based in Vihiga. Key Responsibilities

• Represent the interests and concerns of youth in Tiriki East Sub-County within the Youth Service Board framework.

• Contribute to the development and review of youth-focused policies and programmes at the county level.
• Attend board meetings and related functions as required by the Youth Service Act.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Meet all constitutional requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
• Hold at least a C- (Minus) grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two years of proven experience in youth leadership or youth-related work.
• Be classified as a youth under Article 260 of the Constitution of Kenya (aged 35 years and below at the time of application).
• Be a resident of Tiriki East Sub-County.
• Not hold any official position in a registered political party in Kenya.
• Provide relevant clearance certificates in compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
