About the Role
Morsan HR Consulting is recruiting a Wig Stylist & Customer Experience Assistant for a fast-growing beauty brand based in Nairobi. This is a full-time position designed for someone with hands-on expertise in wig styling and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The role bridges technical styling skills with direct client engagement, requiring you to deliver polished wig services while maintaining the brand’s presentation standards.
The ideal candidate combines organizational ability with a keen eye for detail, strong product knowledge, and comfort working in a content-focused environment. You’ll work across multiple areas: styling wigs to specification, maintaining inventory, supporting photoshoots and video content, and ensuring customers receive informed guidance on wig care and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Style wigs according to customer preferences, occasion, and desired finish; customize fit, wearability, and appearance as needed.
- Straighten, curl, lay, and shape wigs to meet brand standards; ensure every piece is clean, polished, and ready for handover or delivery.
- Perform wig maintenance services including washing, conditioning, detangling, drying, and styling for both new and previously worn wigs.
- Revamp and restore used wigs to improve softness, shape, movement, and overall quality across different textures, lengths, and constructions.
- Prepare and style wigs for models, photoshoots, videos, and company content; support behind-the-scenes styling during creative campaigns.
- Advise customers on wig care, maintenance, and product use through in-person consultation and via company customer service channels.
- Prepare, inspect, and package customer orders neatly; maintain a clean, organized, and professional styling workspace.
- Assist the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks and support the brand’s product promotion initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Cosmetology, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Practical experience in wig styling with proficiency across different wig textures and constructions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of wig maintenance, revamping techniques, and proper hair care practices.
- Ability to confidently straighten, curl, and create polished finished wig styles; strong attention to detail and commitment to professional results.
- Customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organized and reliable; capable of managing multiple tasks in a production-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn the company’s products, styling standards, and customer service protocols; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays; comfort engaging with models and working behind-the-scenes in a creative, content-driven setting.
Desirable Qualifications
