About the Role

Morsan HR Consulting is recruiting a Wig Stylist & Customer Experience Assistant for a fast-growing beauty brand based in Nairobi. You will be responsible for delivering professional wig services, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring customers feel confident and well-informed about their purchases. Key Responsibilities

  • Style wigs according to customer preferences, desired occasion, and finish specifications, including straightening, curling, laying, and shaping to meet brand standards.
  • Customize wigs to improve fit, wearability, and overall appearance, ensuring every piece is neat, clean, and polished before handover or delivery.
  • Perform wig maintenance services including washing, conditioning, detangling, drying, and restyling to restore softness, shape, and movement.
  • Prepare and style wigs for models, photoshoots, video content, and marketing campaigns, working behind the scenes during content shoots to ensure camera-ready presentation.
  • Advise customers on wig care, styling techniques, maintenance routines, and product use through in-person consultations and customer service channels.
  • Prepare, inspect, and package customer orders neatly, maintaining a clean and organized styling workspace and properly storing styling tools and products.
  • Support operational tasks including quality checks on finished wigs and collaboration with the wider team on brand-related projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Cosmetology, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in wig styling with proficiency across different wig textures and constructions.
  • Working knowledge of wig maintenance, revamping techniques, and proper hair care practices to preserve wig quality.
  • Proven ability to straighten, curl, and create polished finished styles with strong attention to detail and commitment to professional results.
  • Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities and the capacity to provide patient, friendly support.
  • Organizational skills and reliability with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment and work independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed by the business.
