Light International School (LIS) is currently recruiting across seven subject areas. The following roles are available on a full-time basis:
Teacher of Chemistry and Biology
- Deliver curriculum content in chemistry and biology aligned with IGCSE and A-Level standards
- Develop and implement assessment strategies that track student progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning and refinement within the science department
Teacher of Physical Education (2 Positions)
- Design and lead PE programmes that meet IGCSE and A-Level requirements
- Oversee student assessment in physical education across multiple age groups
- Support the development and delivery of the broader physical education curriculum
Teacher of Business (Combination with Mathematics or Geography Preferred)
- Teach business studies at IGCSE and A-Level, with optional subject integration
- Establish assessment frameworks aligned with curriculum standards
- Participate in curriculum development for the business studies department
Teacher of Mathematics and Physics
- Deliver mathematics and physics instruction meeting IGCSE and A-Level specifications
- Create and administer formative and summative assessments
- Engage in curriculum development activities within the mathematics and science areas
Teacher of English
- Teach English language and literature according to IGCSE and A-Level frameworks
- Design assessment processes to evaluate student learning and progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning within the languages department
Teacher of Economics

Teacher of Art

General Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialisation in your subject area
- Maintain current and valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in your subject
- Possess proven experience delivering IGCSE and A-Level curricula
- Show solid understanding of curriculum development methodologies and assessment practices
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills alongside solid interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrate organisational competence in managing classroom responsibilities and student data
