Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the performance of Relationship Officers within your team, ensuring targets are met and service standards upheld.
• Assess creditworthiness and loan applications from micro entrepreneurs, conducting due diligence on business viability.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key micro business accounts, understanding their evolving financial needs.
• Monitor the health of assigned micro business portfolios and implement corrective measures where required.
• Contribute to job jobs in Nairobi by supporting colleagues in achieving portfolio growth and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience, with demonstrated exposure to retail or commercial banking.
• Thorough working knowledge of MSME (micro, small and medium enterprise) banking products and practices.
• Strong understanding of lending products, including term loans, overdraft facilities, and asset financing.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and assess credit risk at the micro business level.
• Proven track record of customer acquisition and portfolio management in previous banking roles.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan micro business landscape and familiarity with informal sector dynamics.
