About the Role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Recruitment Intern to join its Global Recruitment Team in Kenya on a full-time basis. As a Recruitment Intern at One Acre Fund, you will support the Operations sub-team and work under the supervision of the Recruitment Senior Coordinator. This role provides direct involvement in recruitment operations alongside collaboration with team members across the global recruitment function.

The position is ideal for someone with foundational Human Resource experience who wants to develop practical skills in candidate management and recruitment process improvement. You’ll work with real recruitment data and systems while contributing to the efficiency of hiring workflows for a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute recurring operational tasks that maintain recruitment workflow accuracy and minimize processing errors.
  • Guide candidates through the screening and selection process from initial application through final hiring decision, ensuring responsive and professional communication throughout.
  • Maintain and update candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System, monitoring application progress and generating reports on recruitment metrics.
  • Review application data and candidate information to identify patterns and trends that inform process improvements.
  • Partner with your manager to evaluate current recruitment systems and support implementation of enhancements based on performance data.
  • Organize candidate information and maintain accurate tracking logs using spreadsheet tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study.
  • 6 months to 1 year of recruitment experience or related Human Resource work.
  • Demonstrated experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse or similar platforms preferred but not required).
  • Ability to analyze data patterns and identify trends in recruitment information.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple team members and departments across an organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to task management.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
