Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain partnerships with school meal providers, government agencies, and civil society organizations across program implementation sites in Kenya
- Develop comprehensive work plans, detailed implementation roadmaps, and annual budgets; prepare donor reports on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis with documented case studies and lessons learned
- Monitor project performance against set indicators on a monthly basis and facilitate team reflections with the school meals coalition to identify improvement opportunities with schools and communities
- Lead the design and management of a national school meals database for civil society organizations, ensuring accurate data collection, collation, and timely sharing with stakeholders
- Integrate gender equality, child protection, disability inclusion, and community participation principles into all program interventions and ensure alignment with Christian organizational values
- Conduct community needs assessments to identify local resources and design contextually appropriate programming solutions in partnership with schools and local leaders
- Document, analyze, and disseminate evidence on successful school meals advocacy approaches; convene county-level forums for cross-organizational learning and best practice sharing
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, development studies, public health, nutrition, education, or a related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum three years of professional experience in NGO project coordination, program management, or community development work within Kenya or similar contexts
- Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and evaluation frameworks, data collection systems, and reporting for donor-funded programs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management or project tracking software
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships, facilitate community meetings, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences including government officials, school administrators, and vulnerable populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili; additional local language proficiency is an advantage
- Commitment to Christian principles and willingness to participate in organizational devotions, prayer gatherings, and faith-centered activities as per World Vision Kenya policies
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across Kenya for program monitoring and community engagement
