About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full range of daily laboratory operations and workflow management
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with quality assurance standards and relevant regulations
• Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory staff performance and development
• Manage laboratory inventory, reagents, and medical equipment procurement and maintenance
• Identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancement initiatives across the laboratory
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with laboratory protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
• Valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in laboratory management or supervisory role
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems and laboratory best practices
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
• Ability to manage budgets, staff schedules, and operational priorities
