Open Positions

Technical & Non-Technical (Bachelor’s Degree Level)

• Three-month attachment in various departments across Kenya Power’s operations.
• Open to students enrolled in accredited degree programmes in engineering and technical fields.
• Full-time participation required throughout the attachment period.

Technical & Non-Technical (Diploma Level)

• Three-month placement spanning September to November 2026.
• Candidates must be continuing students in accredited diploma programmes.
• Full-time commitment expected for all three months.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option)

• Specialised attachment for power systems students and technicians.

• Technical attachment for plumbing craft certificate holders and related trainees.
• Focus on systems installation, maintenance, and utility infrastructure work.
• Three-month contract with full-time participation requirement.

General Requirements

• You must be an actively enrolled student pursuing a degree, diploma, or craft certificate in an accredited institution.
• Availability for full-time work during the entire three-month period (September–November 2026).
• A valid introduction letter from your educational institution confirming your status and programme details.
• Current personal accident insurance covering the full duration of your attachment at Kenya Power.
• Engineering jobs in Nairobi require candidates to meet all documentation requirements before the July 27, 2026 deadline.
