Junior Accountant at Bridge Talent Management – Bridge Talent Management Kenya Job Details
Job Summary:
We are seeking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and tax reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and filinAg of financial records.
- Stay updated with financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software(e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant tools e.g. Oddo).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
