We are seeking a qualified and passionate Junior Secondary Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Mathematics and Science.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Science, in alignment with the JSS Curriculum.
Utilize diverse teaching methods to cater to the needs of all students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning.
Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and practical application of concepts in both subjects.
Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
Address student needs individually to support their growth in both Mathematics and Science.
Work with fellow teachers to create cross-curricular opportunities.
Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
Provide regular updates to parents/guardians regarding student progress.
Organize parent-teacher meetings as necessary.
Stay current with teaching methodologies, educational technology, and updates in the Mathematics and Science fields.
Participate in school-based and external professional development activities.

Key Skills and Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education with specialization in Mathematics and Science.
At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the junior secondary level.
Strong understanding of the Kenya National Curriculum for Mathematics and Science.
Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices.
