Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain patient health records using assigned HMIS systems and integrated platforms
• Ensure all documentation aligns with SHA and SHIF requirements and regulatory standards
• Operate and troubleshoot SMART and M-Tiba Platforms to support clinical and administrative workflows
• Organize, file, and retrieve medical records in both digital and physical formats
• Monitor data quality and accuracy across health information systems
• Prepare reports and generate data summaries for hospital management and compliance audits
• Liaise with clinical staff to resolve records-related issues and ensure timely information availability

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from an accredited institution
• Minimum four years of professional experience in health records management or related healthcare information roles
• Demonstrated proficiency in HMIS systems and familiarity with SMART and M-Tiba Platforms
• Working knowledge of SHA (Social Health Authority) and SHIF (Social Health Insurance Fund) documentation frameworks
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities for managing large volumes of records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
