Job Responsibilities:

As a Fitness Trainer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting fitness assessments and consultations with residents to understand their goals, health conditions, and fitness levels.
  • Leading group fitness classes in various disciplines such as Yoga, Meditation, Zumba, Boxing, Kickboxing, Bodybuilding, Crossfit, Aerobics, Spinning, and more.
  • Designing and implementing personalized and group workout programs for residents, incorporating suitable fitness modalities.
  • Demonstrating and instructing clients on the proper use of fitness equipment and machines.
  • Providing guidance on correct exercise techniques to ensure client safety and effective workouts.
  • Offering nutritional advice, emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet and healthy eating habits.
  • Promoting and maintaining cleanliness in the gym.
  • Keeping records of attendance and monitoring the use of gym equipment to prevent damage and loss.

Requirements and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous work experience as a Fitness Trainer, preferably in a membership club.
  • Extensive expertise in teaching and practicing various fitness disciplines, including Yoga, Meditation, Zumba, Boxing, Kickboxing, Bodybuilding, Crossfit, Aerobics, Weight Training, and Nutrition.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and fitness principles.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and provide clear instructions.
  • Ability to adapt workout programs and teaching methods to accommodate individuals with varying fitness levels and abilities.
  • Genuine passion for health and wellness, with a sincere desire to help clients achieve their fitness goals.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred).
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
  • Proficiency in using information technology for various purposes such as record keeping, class scheduling, session reminders, client and group management, and client and group analysis.

Package:

The job will involve specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) largely based on customer feedback and experience.

  • Gross retainer of 50,000/-
  • Piece rate compensation for classes
  • Potential annual bonus
