About the Role: Apollo Agriculture is seeking driven and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Fraud Operations Agents. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our customer engagement by identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and minimize the financial risks posed by fraudulent actors while supporting the enforcement of Apollo’s Fraud Policy and aiding in loan recovery efforts.

Reporting Lines: This position reports to the Fraud Operations Senior Associate.
Contract Duration: Short-term
Location: Remote (Nairobi)

Responsibilities:

• Investigate potentially fraudulent applications and activities.
• Utilize internal systems such as CMS and AFIT for thorough investigations and document all findings.
• Conduct detailed administrative reviews involving subjective assessments aligned with company policies and guidelines.
• Address performance concerns related to field agents and work towards resolution.
• Collect and present evidence to support agent deactivation when necessary.
• Plan and execute retraining initiatives for field agents exhibiting minor data quality issues.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for Criminology or Forensic Investigations.
• Strong proficiency in drafting comprehensive reports.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
• Self-motivated, capable of working remotely under pressure with minimal oversight.
• Advanced computer skills, with solid experience in Windows or Ubuntu operating systems.
• Expertise in Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
• Reliable access to a stable internet connection.
• A valid Police Clearance Certificate indicating no prior criminal record.
• Demonstrates high integrity and possesses excellent customer service skills.
