About the Role

BIMAS Kenya Limited is seeking full-time Direct Sales Representatives to build and manage customer relationships across Kenya. This is a field-based sales position focused on lead generation, product education, and application processing for the company’s financial products. You will work directly with prospective customers, guide them through the application process, and report market insights back to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Walk customers through the application process and assist them in completing all required documentation accurately.

  • Authenticate customer identity by cross-checking original documents (National IDs, passports, etc.) against photocopies provided.
  • Submit completed and verified applications to the relevant Branch Manager or loan officer for processing.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend additional BIMAS products aligned with customer needs.
  • Maintain secure custody of all customer documents and materials in your possession.
  • Escalate customer feedback and complaints to the Branch Manager for resolution and improvement.
  • Collect and share field-level market information with leadership to inform product development and strategy.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales activity reports as required by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in a business-related field (accounting, finance, commerce, or equivalent).
  • Minimum grade C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent national secondary qualification.
  • At least 1 year of direct sales experience or completion of a sales-focused internship.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review documents and verify customer information accurately.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customer types.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills — you must explain complex financial products clearly and persuasively.
  • Professional written communication ability for application notes, reports, and correspondence.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and deadlines under pressure.
