About the Role

Aspire Lending Limited is seeking a Customer Service & Digital Marketing Officer for its Nairobi office. This is a full-time position that combines direct customer engagement with social media management and lead generation. The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between the company’s customer base and its digital presence, handling inquiries across multiple channels while building brand awareness online.

The role is suited for someone with customer service experience who understands digital marketing fundamentals and can manage competing priorities. You’ll work in a financial services environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and professional communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries received via phone, email, social media, WhatsApp, and in-person visits, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Share detailed information about Aspire Lending Limited’s products and services in response to customer questions and requests.
  • Address customer complaints with attention to detail and follow through on resolution to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage and update customer records to maintain accurate account information and interaction history.
  • Oversee the company’s presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp Business platforms.
  • Create and schedule relevant content for digital channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and respond to customer interactions on social media in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute online marketing campaigns and promotions designed to generate qualified leads.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Track the performance of marketing activities and provide regular reporting on key metrics.
  • Generate leads and follow up on prospects to support sales targets and customer acquisition.
  • Assist in coordinating marketing activations, campaigns, and promotional events.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service, sales, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts and running digital marketing campaigns (an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally across different channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and familiarity with relevant marketing tools.
  • Capability to write engaging copy and create basic content for digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with analytical ability to evaluate marketing performance and customer issues.
  • Sales and negotiation skills with a customer-first approach to service delivery.
  • Basic graphic design skills are preferred but not essential.
